Mobile App Manager

With the release of a new version of mobile Apps developed on the basis of the Flutter framework, there was a need for a new tool for managing two applications at once (iOS and Android), since they are now compiled from a single source code and are completely identical to each other functionally and graphically. As a result, when managing settings or editing phrases, you make changes in two applications at once.

How it works

The first version of the plugin turned out to be very simple, due to the fact that in the new version of the applications we tried to use the script resources as much as possible (settings, language pack phrases, ad type data, etc.). After installing the plugin, it adds a new section with settings to the "Basic Settings" of the site for managing both applications and several dozen new phrases.

Back end

As noted above, the plugin only creates a new group of settings and phrases, they can be edited using the standard capabilities of the admin panel. The plugin does not create new managers or other management tools.

REST API plugin

For the new applications to work correctly, you also need to install the REST API plugin. This plugin provides communication between mobile applications and your site's database, so both plugins are required.

Outdated plugins for connecting to Apps

For old applications, we used the "Connection with iOS" and "Connection with Android" plugins, for the new version, these plugins are no longer needed and are not used, they can be removed immediately after your applications are updated to the new version.
