Cardinity is an all-in-one payment solution for various types of e-commerce businesses selling various products and services, and most importantly, Cardinity supports high-risk businesses, such as escort/adult-oriented websites and allows webmasters to receive payments in a hassle-free manner.

Getting started

If you want to use Cardinity for your business, there are two major requirement that your business needs to comply with: firstly, you need make sure that your business is registered in one of the countries supported by Cardinity. If you do not reside in one of the supported countries, you may still use Cardinity by registering your business in the above-mentioned locations via third-party agents or partners.

Secondly, Cardinity does not support all types of businesses, and your application may get rejected if your business deals in prohibited-business list. With this in mind, check your website business model and make sure it is not on the list of prohibited ones. If your business meets the above-mentioned requirements, you may create an account and use Cardinity on your website.

Back End

After you create an account with Cardinity, you will be given access to a functional dashboard, from where you can set up and configure payment options, create payment plans for different scenarios, such as one-click purchase, “remember me” option, recurring payments, subscription plans and others.

The dashboard allows you to see the payments received, new customers added, payouts made to your bank account with the ability to view the log and get detailed information on each payment made on your website. You may also view a general report on all transactions made or filter the payments by a period (daily, weekly, monthly).

Front End

Cardinity offers users a hassle-free and easy checkout option. During the first payment, the customer will need to fill in his debit/credit card details; however, Cardinity also offers a one-click payment option for returning customers allowing them to make a repeated purchase instantly without entering their card details.

You do not need to worry about storing your customers’ sensitive information; all of the payment information is securely stored and tokenized by Cardinity. If your customers are viewing your website from their mobile devices, you should know that Cardinity’s purchasing experience is entirely adjusted to small mobile screens ensuring that your users may make a purchase right from their phones.

Pricing and Commissions

Cardinity does not charge a setup or monthly fees for their services. Webmasters only pay a commission on every successful sale made on your website. The standard commission is 1.3% + €0.25 on every sale made with a card issued in European Union.

The additional cross-border fee is applied for cards issued outside of the EU. Whenever you receive a payment, Cardinity will hold 5% to 10% from it for a certain period of time to cover a chargeback fee in case it occurs. If no chargeback occurs, this amount will be released and made available for withdrawal.

If you are running a high-risk business, the commission fee is negotiable on a case-by-case basis. If your website processes over 50 thousand euros in payments monthly, the commission is also negotiable with Cardinity.
