Landing Pages
In today's digital landscape, managing website content, links, and metadata plays an important role in site promotion and search engine optimization. Sometimes, it becomes essential to create dedicated landing pages to target specific search keywords and locations. Our new Landing Pages plugin allows you to effortlessly create landing pages optimized for precise keywords and locations.
How it works
The Plugin stands out as one of the most powerful SEO tools in the Flynax add-on arsenal. With this Plugin, you can generate numerous pages tailored to both high and low-frequency keywords filtered by city, country, and other parameters. Each landing page offers unique content and metadata. When visitors arrive at a landing page via search engines, they will seamlessly navigate to the original site page, complete with metadata and content thoughtfully curated for their needs.
Front End
Users do not have an interface to interact with the Plugin. Instead, site visitors will access the site via the landing page URL and continue exploring the site's content by navigating to other pages.
Back End
The Plugin introduces a dedicated section in the admin panel for managing landing pages. When creating a landing page, the Administrator will need to fill in two main fields:
Landing Page Path
A custom, SEO-friendly URL that excludes the domain name, subdirectory name (if applicable), and the two-character page language code. The page path must conclude with a "/" (slash); file extensions like ".html" are not permitted.
For example, the path could resemble this: domain.com/t-shorts-for-kids-in-miami/
Original Page Path
This is an exact path of the corresponding page on the site, also without using the domain name, subdirectory name, and the two-character language code.
For instance: domain.com/miami/sport-clothes/children-s-clothes/game:football/
In addition, there are several text fields
- Page Title (Meta Title)
- Heading (H1)
- Meta Description
- Meta Keywords
- SEO text, which can be placed anywhere on the page
In our case, all fields must contain SEO-friendly text related to "Football clothes for kids in Miami." If your site supports multiple languages, you must provide paths and metadata in all available languages.
Integration with Other Plugins
The "Original page path" field can accommodate any URL present on the site, whether generated by the system or other plugins, either separately or in combination. Let's explore two primary integration scenarios:
Multifields/Location Filter
You can use pages that feature location-based details (city, region, country), allowing you to precisely target the location for your landing page. For example: /miami/sport-clothes/children-s-clothes/. You can use any page url generated by geo filter plugin as original original path for your landing page.
Filters
The Filter plugin generates an extensive array of distinct URLs, and any of these pages can serve as the original landing page. Pages generated by the plugin can encompass multiple parameters, such as /game:football/price:1000-3000/color:white,blue,red/.
Sitemaps
Once you create your landing page, it will be automatically added to your sitemap.xml file, sparing you from the manual effort of doing so.
You have to log in to view installation instructions.
